Kauno Kolegija/ University of Applied Sciences (KUAS) is a public higher education institution within the areas of technologies, social sciences, biomedicine, humanities and arts. International cooperation is one of KUAS priority areas. KUAS has developed a wide network of partners during the active participation in international projects under Erasmus +, Erasmus Sport, Nordplus projects.
Staff members are involved in different kind of projects as experts, teachers or researchers, and work with broad range of target groups (from kids in kindergartens to elderly people in care home or hospital settings). The latest projects are listed here: “Preventing stress in the teaching profession – Stress free teachers”, “The quality of life of people of all ages with physical and mental disabilities”, “Quality of life in Parkinson’s disease”, „Health promotion of Children with Complex Disability: from a Physical and Psychosocial Point of View“, “European Day of Integrated Sport”, “Integrated Football – The new frontier of Sport for All”.
KUAS actively participated in previous “Villages on move” projects “VOMB” and “VOMnet”. In “VOMGO” project they are responsible for developing the instructions for interview of “fire souls” and survey questions to collect the most inspiring stories.
